26 countries in Europe have been involved in Instruct since the programme was launched in 2008. Currently there are 10 Member countries of Instruct-ERIC. *Spain remains a member of Instruct through a separate agreement that will end on 31st December 2017 at which time Spain will transition to Instruct-ERIC membership. Representatives of national structural biology communities have played a key part in helping Instruct decide what was needed to support the scientists who are playing a part in establishing a strong, integrated structural biology research environment in Europe.
